Welcome to the Heart of Pargon LARP website. Heart of Pargon is a UK based LARP system that runs games on a regular basis all year long near Exeter, Devon.
We run one or two adventures a month depending both on the time of year and the demand from our player base. We use our own unique system of rules and
the main story arcs are heavily influenced by player actions.

for our events and adventures or just view upcoming dates to see when we're next running an event you might be interested in.

Heartbroken

Someone has stolen over £100 in £5 notes from the Kings Banquet chest that is kept at Dunlarpin. Unless some remembers me doing something with it.
I am obviously extremely upset, and feel as though my house has been violated and made unsafe. I am not sure what I am going to do about this yet....

Uniques - A change in what is acceptable

From now on, it will not be accepted for people to submit 'ranked' uniques.
A unique skill/ability should be just one skill or ability.
It is possible to submit seperate uniques building up on the first. So the legendary is based on the Heroic etc.
Any that are currently out there I'll be having a look at to see if they should be taking up more Unique slots. No one's uniques currently will change... probably... 
For unique races and classes, it is expected that they could have a reasonable number of abilities/skills attatched to the initial class/race. Any that would normally be to buy for skill later on should now be applied for as a seperate skill/ability.

Hi guys,
As some of you may have noticed, we've lost a few refferees over the past few weeks, which leaves a few areas of the club to be managed.
Have no fear, I will take all these on, and to that effect, I am on school holidays as of the 9th of July, which will give me lots more time, and as of next term I will be taking a pay off every week to give myself more time to deal with club things.

Dear all
As things have changed I do not have the time left to devote to HoP so I feel it is best that I step down from being a Ref and sorting out the bookings, I have been thinking about this for a while and you probably have noticed that many of you have not seen me around for a while either at adventures or on the boards
I will see how things go and if time allows I may start coming back to adventures, but I am afraid not just yet

As people seem to be unable to resist flicking their ciggarettes everywhere there will be no more smoking out the front of Dunlarpin.
If you want to smoke, go out the back. And not through the door in the lounge.
