I sort of feel like there's a lot of "well, technically" that goes on with Vow of Protection. Can we find a middle ground between the two? If an enemy is fleeing I feel like Prot Priests should let them go...?

Let's try and stay on track. Is everyone happy with the changes to armour in the OP? And also with the changes to Strife/Protection?

The rest we can discuss later in a separate thread regarding celebrants. (or on this one but after some consensus has been met)

Basically reposting because I got confused:

I suggest keeping vows.
Protection and Strife need some sort of change (now more difficult with these changes to armour). Open to suggestions.

Sorry to divert back to Ben's original point. Now that you know that nearly every ability costs 1 favour, do you still think changes need to be made? In the example of the Magic Domain, if you have Faith 2, it is probably going to be better to deny 2 spells over the day than to gain 6 essence. But I...

Given that they are a super popular class, I don't see this as a problem. Also I don't see many people making much/any use of the vows.

Well Ben was just suggesting removing Celebrant vows, so we don't necessarily require a direct comparison. For me the issue with Druids is all in the mods.
