Brixham Berzerkers - Shadowlands

Postby Will » Mon May 20, 2013 11:26 pm

A group of us went to the Brixham event at the Dumnoni site last weekend and we loved it.

We want more people for our Inquisition! Come join us against those pesky demons!

Can you link to the website with the Lore or history, and/or tell us more about the group?

So far I know there are demons.

The Inquisition (or The Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition) is an organisation that acts as the secret police of the Imperium, hunting down any and all threats to the stability of the God-Emperor's realm. No one expects them.

Hmm.

The system, in basic terms. As in:

Heart of Pargon is a Fantasy game based around a unique mythos written by its founding members. There's an emphasis on character advancement and growth, and combat is based partly on melee fighting and partly on numbers, with different blows doing different damage.

Or:

Alone is a Science Fiction game based very loosely on the film Aliens. The emphasis is on immersion and minimal ref involvement, and the combat system is mostly gunfights, using a trust-based system that lets people decide how hurt they are.

On the group, a bit more detail, like who they are, what they want, how do they fit into the world in general.

If it is based on inquisitors from the 40k universe, then colour me interested.

It's a high fantasy setting, fairly traditional themes (heroes, bad guys, kings, orcs, goblins etc)

It's pretty laid back and welcoming, not much scope for power playing.

Our group are inquisitors from another world sent my our immortal leader to find, bind and ultimately destroy demons. We're highly lawful, but not neccesserily goodly.

Ben not too far off, except we've been sent to a different world with no hope of return
