Dreith is also feeling a bit sleepy, but is interested enough in the food to remain awake. A thought occurs. And old dream, a memory, she scowls for a moment at the memory, and then relaxes again, visibly shaking off whatever thought it was that had annoyed her.

Galatine looks at her.
Cold? Or disgusted maybe?
Knowing her, it was probably the latter.

Not waiting for an answer the boy got up and stretched, picking up his daisho and naginata.
Are we going to kill something now? Seriously, you were kinda off when Adriana died. I guess it was kinda your fault for not being able to protect anyone though.
Oh, be quiet. Her childs father will do something no doubt. And yes, we are going to kill something. Its been a while since we last found a demon to slay.
I thought you dont kill them if you dont get paid?
I just say that. Id do it anyway.
Can we go with my idea? Find a weakling and make it our servant?
Why not? I still get to fight off something...
Galatine looked at his firends stating: Do not follow me. With that said, he diappeared into the night.

As the sun rises, Galatine returns, seeing the burnt out fire, his friends asleep or just resting and a kitten curled up on top of Drieth. As he gets closer, it got up and mewled triumphantly at Galatine. The warrior smiled at the scene of the cat on top of the shadow elf and couldnt hide a laugh. Sitting down, he Went into another meditation until his friends woke.

Dreith sleepily opens one eye, and reaches up to see whats walking on her, to recieve a small set of needles in her hand, as the kitten, wide awake and wanting to play, pounces on her hand. Depositing the kitten on the grass next to her, Dreith unrolls from her cloak, yawns and sits up.

Hiding a laugh (just) Galatine opes an eye to see his friend wake to the claws.

Dreith regards her lacerated hand, while the kitten chases a leaf in the breeze around the trio.
Sure this isnt one of Haze's kittens?

Hmm...more like one of my Hell spawn...
Whats He--
NEVER MIND!!
Galatine laughed once again at Drieth's comment.
Perhaps...or maybe Velnashar's agent?
He stared at the kitten in mock horror, which stared back.

Very probably Dreith glares at the kitten, and then looks back to Galatine. Any plans for the day so far?

The kitten nudged Drieth to make amends. Most people knew Drieth wasnt so forgiving, but a cat wouldnt know...

I had nothing planned. My last plan was a failure, but I learnt something new about this land and its demons. Perhaps if we go over the mountains, i could try slaying these or forcing a few into submission. Other than this, its really just up to you.
He ended pointing at the shadow elf.

Dreith glares at the kitten, decides after a moment to pat its head, although resisting the temptation to do something else.
Lets head for one of the towns, see what work we can pick up.

Dreith scoops up the kitten again, who wisely does not play with its sharp appendages.
Alright. Coming Gwaiyn?

The warrior looked towards the distance at the rising sun. The breeze passed through the forest gently, but the mind of the swordsman came to remind him of hiow a sword should be like the breeze: Unstoppable and never ending. It suddenly came to him in a moment of realisation: the sword had to be more than a way of fighting, it had to be an answer to all lifes questions. He turned back to hims friends.
Shall we be setting off?
