**Quayle unrolls most of the scroll and shows it to Inglebert and Uthred**

Quayle,

I hope at least one of my messengers gets through to you.

We need to talk of plans now my worst fears have been realised.

Gather a group of skilled individuals and meet me on the 19th of Septerimus

Deevron

We used to know each other in the old days, I haven't seen him in a few months as he remained within the Heartlands to guard one of the Boltab groves when the mists decended.

**Quayle unrolls the rest of the scroll and smiles**

The Incantation below will activate only on that day, to mass teleport the group to the
location where we last met and talked with our God. Do not speak it aloud on that day
until you are ready.

Take us hence to freedom's meeting.

Deevron worked against Erathil, back in the day. I think you may have met him, he's a giant mouse, but don't let that fool you. If you've ever tried proofing a grain warehouse against rodents, you'll know that they can get in anywhere and work together better than most.

**Quayle smiles after Inglebert as he leaves, glad to see his old friend with a purpose and turns back to Uthred. Suddenly his eyes widen and he turns back to the doorway where he sees a familiar Wood Elf across the courtyard. In a second he has bolted, rushing across to where the figure stands and there he drops to his knee**

Celeste watches them leave and turns to Dias who has been quiet throughout her time there. With everyone intent on a killing spree as the only solution she sighs deeply. There must be another way. Without knowing all the people coming and going, it seems impossible to fathom out who is the best person to talk to.

The choices seem to be: Stay here and shut up whilst watching people prepare for battle to the death or return to Warryn and try to reason with him to stand down, without his leadership skills perhaps the growing army of elves would weaken but then what? Weaken them only to watch them die? That isn't what she wanted either. Life is life no matter how horrid a being is and nobody has any right to take that from anyone.

Grabbing another apple from the table Celeste sits down to think. So far away from home, so not liking the situation, so worried about the dragons and now for the future of the entire world. If erathil wins this war, would Dracos Tielvar be safe or would he want that also? Images of the brutal fire-elves rampaging over her beautiful homeland made her shiver. They must be stopped but how could she join a side? She couldn't just sit back and watch the carnage but what could she do?

Muttering quietly into the dim light Celeste began:

"Mighty dragon of meta, please guide me now. Give me the peace of mind from my homeland that warms me enough to make my heart and head strong enough to continue for all around me I see imminent death and destruction yet I feel helpless to intervene. Should I stay and assist in hopefully defeating Erathil thus securing the probable safety of Dracos Tielvar? In doing so I assist in the death of many elves and I cannot surely bear this conscience? Should I travel to Warryn who is unlikely to listen to me? Should I just return home and leave these peoples to their destructive lives? This would not achieve my mission, it would not save either the lives of those here or the assistance the dragons require from this world.

Mighty dragon of meta, I am tired. Please give me comfort and courage as I really don't know what I am doing here. . Grant me my happy memories, my smile amongst this bitter darkness, grant me my peace of mind".

Celeste waited, she felt warmer and a little less lonely but the peace of mind never came. Perhaps preventing lives being lost was not going to work in which case preventing as many as possible was the only option now.

One of the guards sticks his head in through the door. "Umm... sir, there's a... Spider out here? Says he wants to speak to 'The Dias' or something..."

Celeste looked up. A spider. Could the day get much worse?

A wet and muddy human is shown in by one of the guards. Around his furs and leather armour his clothes have been torn, as if he has been hurrying through the deepest parts of woods. He looks out of place amongst the Larkant army, and ill at ease within the fortress.

"Haran Uhtred? I bring word from Nandine. Haran Teyaspa is raising a small company of skirmishers and coming to meet with you. Won't be as fast as us. Might be a few days until he gets here."

*the human makes a slight bow, and heads back toward the door*

Now the humans had arrived he would have time to rest and mourn the dead properly, time to get messages to Sylas to arrange some of his plans and find out where Erathils' Bane lay.

That damn captain was all for wiping out the Elves who stand against the humans, if that was the attitude of thier ancestors then it made sense why Erathil was like he was... peace wasn't something that would come easily to either side, he had been at Erathil's 'Parlay' where he wouldn't agree to share the forts, stubborn seems to be the middle name of those leading both sides in this war.

Sighing, and finding his excuse from a guard he steps out... why in all the Light, would a spider be looking for him...

*Teyaspa makes his way through Fort Drake escorted/guided by a militiaman. He's shown into the Haran's office.*

"Haran Uhtred, you sent me a message. What is it my tribe and I can do for you?"

Kira turns up, slowly, observing in silence. He is full of confused thoughts and feelings right now...he is a sword, and as far as he cares, has and always will be swung by and for the people of Velmaneth. But those people are divided now...

Quietly settling in with the people around, he stays out of the way and listens, trying to make up his mind on things. There is a delicate balance right now that might snap at any moment...

*Waiting for Uhtred to finish whatever he is doing, Teyaspa glances around the room. People are leaving and arriving, and he does little more than glance. Seeing a Life elf in the middle of a war camp though makes him double take. He moves over toward her.*

"I've never seen a Life Elf at a war council before. Are the Life Elves becoming involved? I'm Teyaspa by the way, Haran of the Everni tribe."

*Continueing to glance around the room his eyes lock on a face he never expected to see again. Time has dimmed memory of detail a bit, but it was too close for comfort.*

"You, are you related to a man named Galatine?"
Teyaspa, a wild Everni hunter.

Kira shifts about awkwardly, remembering that Teyaspa had not seen him since he had died...it had never crossed his mind to let him know otherwise, he had forgotten to do a lot of things since he returned from the Wastes...
Addressing Teyaspa, Kira speaks clearly, touching the scar on his cheek.

Last you saw him, it was under the control of the demon within a sword. He died that day on a hill...I do not know what you did with the body, but perhaps you buried it? Respected that he was not to be remembered? In any case, Galatine is dead, along with all connections to that sword and demon. I am Kira...but I was called Galatine. It has been a long time, my friend...

Kira bowed, politely, realizing how awkward this was.
As it turns out, our battle plan is NOT "Synchronized Panicking"
