The Return ...

Postby Chaos_dwarf » Tue Aug 11, 2009 9:48 am

With a heavy heart Marcus takes one last look at Brockman Isle. Sighing, he turns his back to the cause of so much of his and his friend's pain. He leans upon a railing.

"I wonder whether I'll be able to fulfill my vow to Aquilla ...", he breathed to the wind.

Marcus wonders off in search of one of the Dwarven crew.

A plain faced Earth Elf over hears Marcus talking, as the Human warrior walks off the Elf speaks,

"Why is everyone so emotional? We are getting Loph back right? And the othe..."

On the final word the his right leg gives way, sending the now unbalanced elf crashing to the deck. As he rights himself slowly the wind carries various curses aimed at the sea and it's unrelenting instability.

As soon as the boat comes even remotely in sight of land, Galatine takes a deep breath, picks up his belongings and takes a huge jump into a small canoe he had asked to borrow, into the ocean and heads off without so much as a "Good bye" to anyone. He didnt turn, but as soon as he was a fair distance out, he waved a hand back to the others, picking up his pace.

**Quayle looked out to sea, watching Galatine's departure and as the young man turned around to wave Quayle returned the gesture**

See Quayle's reaction, galatine focused on the Furious blade, locking eyes, even that far away. For a moment, he stopped, then nodded to the man as though making some form of promise to meet once again someday. Having done this, he continued, this time not focusing on anything besides getting back to land.

**Finally the ship came to harbour near the small settlement built on the ruins of Nauko and Quayle disembarked, heading south towards Pathway**
