Attention all loyal to the Phoenix

Postby Luke » Mon Apr 02, 2012 7:17 pm

A poster is circulated around Dvarni. Elven town criers repeat the message. The people gossip but the point is clear.

"ALL ELVES LOYAL TO THE PHOENIX, AND WHO ARE CAPABLE, ARE NOW TO JOIN THE ELVEN ARMIES FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF THIRTY DAYS IN THE SUMMER. FOOD AND PAY WILL BE PROVIDED TO FAMILIES OF SOLDIERS.

TRAINING SESSIONS BEGIN AT THE CENTRAL BARRACKS, EIGHTH HOUR, ON THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER.

ALL THOSE WHO DO NOT SIGN FORFEIT THEIR RIGHTS AS CITIZENS OF DVARNI.

THIS IS THE WILL OF LORD ERATHIL COSHWOOD. PRAISE BE THE PHOENIX."

in addition a smaller notice is handed round

"due to the limitations of our situation elven women must apply for the right to bear children, with a maximum of two newborns per woman. Food and supplies will now be awarded to those who mother children on a preferential basis. Save the elven race, do your part and be rewarded by the Coshwood family."

Following the anouncements all members of the Font of Knowledge and Power are informed that they are to report to the Barracks as ordered and as part of the Guilds devotion to the King.

[ooc: Guild Restriction:
Military Service
During times of need members of The Font can be called into military service.
The call can only be enforced by one of the Mage Generals and once called into service the member is expected to represent The Font whilst fulfilling the military service.
The service should last for as long as the campaign to which they are recruited for lasts and the service can only be terminated by the recruiting General.]
