Historically, Paladin was a free mutliclass of Knight to Celebrant keeping the best modifiers. Don't ask me where this has been written down :)
Saga 2015 will be entirely celebrating and drinking with nothing bad happening and no bad guys showing up at all ever

Is this a case of William not reading the whole thread? ;)

Andy, can you restate your suggestion by quoting Luke out of context, using extreme examples and belittling him where possible?

Some of Luke's best suggestions come when you piss him off. If you can't make the effort to piss Luke off, I'm worried I'm not getting the best out of either of you, it's like you don't really believe in your suggestion if it doesn't troll at least one person.

More seriously Andy and I discussed faith today and sort of came to similar conclusions

It should be a shit hits the fan button
It should not be what you build your character around
You should have a reason to not worship a god

With the last point we suggested faithless "benefits" as a small bonus so that players dont feel penalised for choosing a character and then deciding they dont wanna bolt on stats. Especially.we end up seeing some faiths a lot more than others.

Atheism
Can call no effect to one spell coming from an obviously religious source per threshold per day.

Instead of saying "no effect" it should be "fuck you. And your god."

So, I wrote a thing about it aaaages ago and posted it on the ref boards but no-one seemed all that interested (Ben excluded).

So short answer is: I have no idea.

I think everyone has been really busy, but I am keen to get the ball rolling. - as you can imagine, it's a bit of a collosal undertaking but I would imagine it will follow a new version of the main rules.
