Old Earth.

Warryn arrived back on Coshwood Isle shortly after the commotion with the gods. He wore a tattered piece of leather armour, carried a battered stone shield, a quite fancy sword, a necklace, basic robes and boots. Tucked into his belt was a rock worth 210 rava. Or at least that was what he paid for it.

He thought arriving on elven land would fill him with pride, joy even, some special quality of the earth that would welcome him. Instead he felt no different, earth was earth. It was everywhere.

He met with his littlest Brother Erathil immediately. Monotonous but harsh words were spoken. Erathil had made the Diamond Elf out to be stupid, in front of lesser beings, then it had been proved that Warryn's suspicions of Quayle were correct. That his suspicions of D'arvan were also correct. Erathil had been calm as ever, and never once raised his voice, but he could tell he was irritated that the eldest of the Coshwood's - and frequently intellectually underestimated - had been more perceptive than he.

Argument erupted over conduct and command. Both sides were left unhappy.

Warryn's temporary resignation followed. In fact one was not needed. The second Erathil himself dropped the mountain upon the heartlands, and crushed Fort Drake, he had broken his promise to the Diamond Elf and thus terminated his service. He was still loyal of course, and if war demanded he would again be on the front lines commanding the Earth to protect his people, but for now he felt tired of battle. And Coshwood's.

He spent a week walking the island. Learning it's geography, talking to the elven farmers and blessing the land with what little power he had. It had been a long time since he had walked the place and secretly hoped he could see Brock again. Purely to prove he was tougher.

At the end of the week he found himself at the Boltab grove. That day, with the help of others he built an earth and stone house. Big enough for one. With a chair, a bed, a small window and a wooden door marked M.C. for his name.

He shoo'd away the other carers of the grove. One mage refused to go so Warryn lifted him calmly by the neck and carried him out. It was then that he decided to build a small wall, with a 3 ft high gate. He asked Ibrithil to make it with 'Gereys Grove. Stay out.'

Onyx, the stone shield rested by the gate as a warning to those that trespassed, always humming with earthen energy.

On the next day. When his house, his wall, and his sign were ready Warryn hung up his new sword and dressed down to be in simple clothes. Trousers, boots, a shirt, and that tattered leather armour.

By mid-morning both the blacksmith and tailor arrived, nervously shuffling, each carrying a box neatly wrapped. The Diamond Elf smiled and took the boxes. Opening them with all the eagerness an emotionless rock could muster.

There the Paladin of Gerethenax remained. Tending to the Boltab grove with his new trowel and water-can, wearing his new tailor made crown; a wide rimmed gardeners hat.

**A power can be felt outside Warryn's new home. A bright light appears, and fades, revealing the form of a Winged Rodera. A not unfamiliar sight on the Isle, nor unfamiliar to Warryn. Farrek Char surveyed the surreal scene. Warryn the... farmer? Really?**

Warryn? Are you in?

**He stands by the gate, and awaits the Paladin of Gerenthenax.**

The little gate opens and Warryn stands with a lazy smile. It was colder this time of year, he stands with woolen gloves and a simple fur coat.

Hello friend. Would you like to take a walk? As you're here I guess you have something on your mind.

**Farrek gladly accepts Warryn's invitation. They wander the Grove as Farrek quietly pitches an idea... He was not surprised to receive such a monosyllabic response. He smiles, and fades from view.**
