Tenem, absolutely stunned takes a step back, but, standing on top of the staircase, falls backwards and has to grab the railing to keep balance.

The beast charges into the room doing damage to himself and the furniture. His silhouette, Corrigan notices, is slowly starting to shrink, the moonlight unable to fully penetrate the mist.

Corrigan acts quickly.

Meta magic, I call upon thee to aid me now. Enhance my eyes to see what needs to be seen; to end this nightmare once and for all. I call upon the magic at my command to obey me in this act.

**Enhance sense Eyes**

As Jack's silhouette shrinks, Corrigan holds out the paralysis scroll and says: The Law be done

((Assuming this works, gonna attempt to tie him up with the magic rope))

(You can see through the mist)

The spell flies towards Jack, and for a moment it seems to fail, unable to find purchase on the persistent creatures soul, but as he shrinks to his human form, being a peasant, it gets even worse. The spell fails to stop his plough workers arms.

A moment later and he is just a man, still blinded by the mist he manages to grab an upturned bedpost as a club.

Knowing the room well he makes his way towards the heroes, club in hand menacingly.

"All you's 'ad to do was die. Come in 'ere snooping around. Getting yourselves in the business of me and my pup. Now you gone done killed him. Ain't right. Well I has made my deal, I feel a new man. An' you idiots ain't taking that from me.

As he stepped into the hallway, drenched in moonlight, his skin began to darken, the hair growing around his wrists and arms.

As Jack steps forward, the Ape swings his fist into the transforming man's jaw as hard as he can, before turning to the others

We should probably go

Jack reels from the blow, head snapping back and blood gushing from his mouth as he bites off the tip of his tongue. Stunned for only a few moments the heroes have an opportunity...

Seeing him stunned, Corrigan charges forwards, tackling the man-wolf into the room swirling with mists

They both fly backwards, Jack landing heavily onto his back, and crashing his skull onto the hard wood floor. The mist swirls around him, almost as if it were curing the disease, though of course it was only a temporary fix.

Jack fell to unconsciousness, dreaming of whatever it is wolves dream.

The Ape unhooks the rope he had slung on his belt and begins to try to tie Jack's arms against his body. He racked his brains for knowledge of Werewolves, trying to remember if their ability to fight in a frenzy applied when they were in their human form. Whatever the case, Corrigan knew they had to do something quickly. The rope wouldn't hold him when the mists dissipate.

**Damn walks into the room, having no issue with the mists**

"The rope won't hold. He's too far gone now, he'll never be the man he was. He needs to be put down, two people have died already, don't let inaction and mercy stay your hand. Two is already two too many"

**Damn walks purposefully towards the unconscious Jack.**

"Now I can end it, or you can. Just get it done."

"I should do it". The shakey voice came from the hall.

"folk'll never believe it less it comes from their own... You um... Got a knife son?"
Tenem swallowed loudly, hands shaking, colour drained from his face.

It's the lawman's job. He can decide.

With that, Corrigan gets up and leaves.

**Damn hesitates briefly before handing over the knife in his left hand.**

"It's a good knife. Make a clean cut.... I'll... want it back of course."

"you're a clever lad. Not sure I wouldn't suspect me either."

He moved over to his friend and made him into a past tense.

It was clean, orderly, and efficient. Which was more than could be said for anything else that evening.

"I will take it from 'ere. You've both been a... Help. Sorry about afore. Blue Horn will take you, come see me tomorrow."

**Damn takes back his knife?**

"Er.. I assume you'll be wanting to drop those resisting arrest charges, considering the assistance I've given?"
