**Turning back one last time before heading to the tavern.**

"Er.. you should burn both those bodies and the two girls too. Be very careful when cleaning up the blood, don't let any of it hit an open wound..."

"You're a good guy... you did the best you could."

**Damn leaves.**

**Damn awoke early after the nights rest. His face looked noticeably fresher and with far less stress. A few of the rips in his clothing had been hastily seen to with what can only described as the most amateur of amateur needlework attempts.**

**Damn took a light breakfast, waiting for Corrigan and Kingswood to appear from the woodwork, when they eventually rise he speaks first, with some intent.**

"Well.. I hadn't really intended to spend my first night back quite like that. I think in lieu of the fact my charges for resisting arrest were dropped I might also waive my normal mercenary "assistance fee" for helping put an end to a dangerous criminal individual."

"I'm heading up into Sanga now, there's something going down in a little village called Piddling - which also happens to be the location of the only gate in and out of the Fey realm. I was looking to do my normal tour of the bars and other disreputable places looking for a few familiar faces who I can rope into coming along. I'm not officially recruiting, and I am certainly not promising any money, but I smell opportunity and well, I'm a sucker for opportunity.

So... coming along for the ride?"

Corrigan eventually stumbles down the stairs. He is limping slightly and has a bandage wrapped around his leg, where the door hit him. In the fresh daylight, he appears much more humanoid.

I haven't quiet sorted everything out from last night...

He clumsily limps over to the table he had been occupying, which still held a few books, and all the parchment was more or less undisturbed.

Something... going down? What sort of something?

“You’re going to Piddling?” A voice inquires politely. As the group turn they see a purple-skinned woman with large black wings growing from her back, and somekind of dark ichor flowing from her eyes. Surprisingly no one in the tavern seems to be disturbed by her bizarre appearance. Perhaps they think, there is no way in hell anyone would really go around looking like that. Like a demon. It must be a costume of some kind. It must be. No one would be that reckless, that insane in real life.

“I ‘appen to be ‘eading zat way myself. I ‘ead what you did wiz zat werewolf. Zat’s razer impressive,” she adds, with the facial expression of someone not used to saying nice things but clearly making an intense effort. “You sound like a capable bunch. Mind if I tag along? I could add quite a bit of firepower of my own. Always good to ‘ave zat when your trying to get somesing done.”

**Damn, never missing an opportunity to aggrandise brushes off his shoulder nonchalantly**

"Ah.. yeah... that. Got to admit, it's not what I expected when I came here looking for some whiskey and a bed, but, I've found you have to take what life throws at you. When life gives you rampaging werewolves... something something lemonade.. I dunno, I'm bad with phrases."

**Damn gives the newcomer a once over, and not being overly concerned with the strange travelling companions mercenary work often throws up he shrugs his shoulders.**

"I'm Damn, nice to meet you. Feel free to join our assorted travelling band of oddities. Sanga really won't know what hit it."

**Turning to Corrigan, and choosing this time to start eating a bread roll.**

"Corrigan, mfph to answer your question, mfph I don't really know.

There was a shit-ton of power being thrown around Piddling mfph this time last year, I was busy in the Fey realm at the time but I got some info from a few Fey that ventured out. mfph mfph mfph Something about a cult and some being with stupid amounts of power.

**Finally finishing the last of the bread.

Er.. also, I've seen like 2 or 3 separate invitations for a feast around the end of the month. One from the Church of Quayos, and one from this Cult...

Hm.

Corrgian sifts through the paper work in front of him, selects a piece of parchment, and picks up his graphite. He hovers for a moment, then shakes his head and tosses it aside.

That sounds dangerous. Anyway I've got to speak to the Lawman about what he should be looking out for...

Enjoy it

"Sure I can't convince you?"

**Damn shrugs his shoulders, before taking out a pen and paper from his bag.**

"Tell you what, if you're going to the lawman, mind passing a quick letter along"

**Damn scrawls hurriedly**

"Dear Tenem,

Sorry that can't really hang around, what happened was tragic and I'm glad I was here to help when I could. if you're ever in a bind like that and need a hand find me. It shouldn't be hard, I'm kind of a big deal.

Anyway, little favour to ask - can't really go into details. There's a girl in a little village called Errians Rest by the name of Karla. When you have time, write out to her for me, explain the situation here and what went down. She'll probably want to ask you a few questions about me, be honest with your impressions of me. I trust your judgement.

Damn"

"Right, there's that taken care of. Now, Erm...Oso-roso-something-yoshi? Do you have like a nickname, or shortened version? Roso, Oso? Eugh, I'm bad with names and phrases. Anyway, I'd like to get to Sanga now by evening time, are you... um.. gonna be alright in Sanga?"

"Oso's fine."

She shrugs. "As okay as I am anywhere else. Sanga doesn't have any special laws against demons does it? I'm aware zere's a no undead policy, but legally speaking zat is all, I sink. Should I apply to Prince 'arwood for a work permit or somesing? Let 'im know off-worlders need to make a living too?"

"Oso it is then.

I don't think there should be any issue in Sanga. People will probably mutter under their breath but you probably won't find anyone stupid enough to actually try anything... I mean, you don't really go around looking like you do without being able to handle yourself.

**Damn smirks a little in remembrance**

"Saying that, I'd stay away from Serke Kemi if I were you. Just been there for a trip - terrible weather, weird customs, no shields. But, in Serke Kemi, almost everyone is stupid enough to try something if you even look slightly like you could be a demon."

Kingswood awakes with a start in The Blue Horn tavern, a drunken fug clouding his head.

"Shit.... Where did the monkey go?"

**Damn turns around quickly in shock**

"Ah-ha! He lives!"

"The monkey has just gone up the local lawmans house up the road, big one 2nd on the right. You managed to miss quite an eventful night. Murders, Werewolves, someone tried to arrest me. Suffice to say, as usual, I saved everyone.

**Damn flashes a quizzical look**

"I don't think you actually believe a word I'm saying... Which, to be fair, based on experience isn't a bad shout. This time however, I'm telling the truth.

Anyway, you got business with the monkey or do you want to come on a little excursion to Sanga? We're looking to swing by the happenings at Piddling after scouring the bars for a few likely acquaintances that might be game for it.
