Erynion looked a little taken back by the hostility that greeted him.

I don't think he remembers me. Maybe I should show him what it's like to not have the use of his legs.

Enough Virrin. Sorry to have offended you, if you could give me any information or know anyone who could help, I will of course pay for your help.

He will help if we cut off his fingers

"Get out."

**A couple of the larger spirits in the tavern stand up to urge Erynion out. A hand grabs at the elf's arm. As Erynion turns to see the newcomer, he does not flinch. The grabber is clearly an undead spirit. He has three faces: one facing him, one facing left, one facing right. Each face bears a similar open grin.**

"Maybe me can 'elp you. Ye wantin' find dee Well of Echoes? Maybe me can 'elp. Com wid me."

**The undead slowly limps out of the tavern, and those inside relax slightly.**

Erynion follows the undead spirit out the tavern and into the street.

Thank you, what's your name? What do you know of the Well Of Echos?

Erynion was fighting off Virrin's voice in his head

I like the look of them, bet he talks to himself like you do

Where are we going?

Erynion didn't know why this spirit was helping him, but he knew he had to trust him if there was any way of escaping the Hopewastes. His hand stayed constantly balanced on an arrow, it was reassuring to know if worse can to worse he could do more damage with a single shot than most could with 3 or 4.

**As he lumbers along, the undead turns one of his faces toward the elf behind him, another facing dead ahead. The backward-face responds to Erynion.**

"It's a long, slow walk we be takin. Plenty time to git to know each odder. And no, me don't talk to my. Me had a name, just don remeberin it."

**Once Erynion catches the creature up, it speaks from the side-face.**

"We know where dee Well of Echoes be. Dey in touch wid us now and again. Well, one be in touch. 'im oo talks to dee spirits. 'im dat knows curses inside and out. Me guess is ye wantin find 'im to fix ya daemon... Or maybe to be fixin ya elf?"

**All three mouths chuckle.**

Erynion was a little taken a back by the strange spirit.

Why do you say fix my demon? We are actually agreed on this task, we seek the Well of Echos to try and escape this place.

The only reason he still has his sanity.

Virrin quiet! What do you know of the Well of Echos? The demon isn't the best at sharing and has left out a few things. How is it you've coke to have 3 faces? Must be useful.

Erynion took his bow and put it over his back. He didn't trust anyone much any more, at least not here, but he knew that trusting this spirit maybe his only way out.

"Ya have a look of... oncomfortableness about ya."

**The creature continues his slow walk into the wastes.**

"Me faces... Well, dey be comin fram dee people fram where me lived. Long times ago, dat. Long, long times."

**Something almost resembling a smile creeps across his mouths.**

"Dee Well of Echoes was made to keep dee spirits of darkness... connected, ye might say. Ya, connected. So dem oo summons dee dead can find imself im spirits. Me master was dere when dey first came about. Im oo knows curses, im oo was as a god. If ye want out of 'ere, maybe im can elp you. But, y'know, nuttin in life com free, just like nuttin in death. Whatcha be offerin in return?"

Something to offer, that was something Erynion had put a huge amount of thought into.

I have a few things to offer. I could deliver a message or item. If there is something he wants doing then of course I will do it. I will offer one of my arrows. Any service I can offer I will offer.

His expression changed

If the Well wants anyone cut up or killed of course I'm more than happy to do that. Or maybe kill 10 peasants to bring us back

"Enough, the Well won't be interested in us killing people"

"I hope"
He said under his breath.

Virrin piped up again Or maybe he will want us to take extra demons in your head to free in the world"

As much as that would possibly break me, I would have to bare that weight if its what the Well of Echos wants

Erynion looked really concerned to hear that carrying demons would be the more likely option.

Well taking demons will not be easy but if it's what it takes then I will have to endure.

Endure, you can't endure me, this could be fun.

He knew this was true and needed to come up with a plan on how to cope or he would surly lose the person he is.

Well lets see what they want before you make space for them. How long before we get to, errr where ever it is you are taking us?

Your master huh? Ok if you say so.

By this point they had been walking for some time. There has been a few silences where Erynion didn't know what to say. All he knew was he was walking somewhere to meet someone and that thought made him uneasy.

In his head he could hear Virrins voice Youve been holding on the you bow and arrow pretty tightly, you don't trust him?

I don't trust anyone down here, but if we don't follow him then we could be here forever.

I don't trust is second face, he looks at us funny, you should shoot that one first.

Im sure we won't need to shoot anyone

Ha, you'll be wanting to shoot yourself if you get any more of us in here

Ok we are walking in silence from now on and see what happens when we arrive.

**Eventually, they reach a small, dark cave. At the back of the cave is a single candle, burning with an unnatural red flame. The three-headed undead gestures towards a large humanoid skull beneath the candle.**

"Dis am how me hears me master. Me calls im, ye talks to the skull, im can hear you. If im like you, im talk back."

**He waves his hand through the candle flame, which brightens and grows a little**

"Me call you, master. Im oo calls de spirits o'death. Jin'Ro, 'ear me!"

**He turns slightly, so one face is staring at Erynion**

"'Im be listenin, mon. Speak ya piece."

Jin'Ro, thank you for your time

Erynion bowed his head.

I have come here to make a plea for me to be return to the world of the living. I know this won't come easily, and may be not even at all. I have heard you have incredible abilities and I'm hear to try and make a deal, which is why I'm offering myself as a vessel. I need to return to world of the living and in exchange I will transport any demons you want back with me to set free into the world. If you have any jobs or anything needing doing I vow to do that.

He will do it, won't be the first time he's taken on a demon to save his bacon.

What says you Jin'Ro?

Erynion could feel beads of sweat rolling down his head, he glanced back to the three faced undead to see what he made of the plea.
