Galatine smiled, genuinely.
He was a light elf mage, and said that he and anyone else who lived near this place made it a habit to send anything trying to get out back in again. Anyway, back on topic, I doubt I could find him right now, nor do I think we could find a way in...he was reluctant last time I asked. So...like I suggested, maybe someone with an attachment to the Wastes might know a way in and be more willing to let on? It would be more logical.
As the boy thought this over, he slowly sang a song under his breath, strangely.

*Nathaniel finishes his drink, stands, and as he is leaving, speaks loudly enough to be heard by the heroes talking*

The wastes? A master of metamagics who has been before could take people there, but it is a very dangerous place, to say the least. If it is to break someone out that you seek the wastes, I suggest waiting a few months. The Night of the Nearly Living Dead is due again this year, as far as I know nothing has disrupted it this time around.

*He puts his empty cup on the bar, and heads outside again.*
So then he goes, YOU SHALL NOT PASS, and I say "I've got WINGS? I can FLY?" It was hilarious! The dwarf was tough, but the elf was delicious and they had some men and these four bite-sized guys, too. The wizard was fuming when I flew off.

Galatine and Marcus are seated, talking in a a place near to the corner. Galatine seems rather bored and sipping what's left of his drink, talking to marcus with some seriousness.

Marcus looks surprised at the strange man who had just acted in a way so unsubtle and ridiculous as to beggar both reason and belief.

Galatine noted the expression and replied, simply:
Nathaniel. A master alchemist, and someone I occasionally purchase from. I dont know him too well, but Im given to beleive that he is well known and usually good with the information he gives. What do you think?

"Why, in the name of all that's holy, would he casually announce to THE ENTIRE BAR what he knew about the hope wastes? Does the man have no tact? Is he actually insane? Great Hope above, how can anyone be so stupid?"

Marcus notes that by the time he has finished, Galatine wasnt paying attention and ordering some hot tea from the bar. Coming back and sitting back down, he looks at his elder.
Isnt that what we have been doing all this time anyways? Besides, when you suddenly yelled out about my having a friend who lives near a way in (or out?), I think most would have noticed. 'Sides, no-one really cares, or they didnt hear through the VERY LOUD NOISE IN HERE!!!
galatine yelled the last part, making a few people look at him as though he was insane. galatine blushed bright red and sat down, then everyone went back to their business.

Kestrel notices Galantine due to the noise he is making and heads over to their table.

" It turns out that Silver referred to the demon that gave the Telefret Traveler the Star Tear dagger. The metal silver itself has no special effects against Warewolves. "

Galatine looked at Kestrel, realizing the Avian had arrived. He thought this over for a moment.
Then cant we ask said demon for another weapon again?

Kestrel looks surprised

" The payment that Silver demanded was quite high - The Traveler became Possessed just before his marriage in the summer of 155 by the demon N’Thule as payment for the Star Tear dagger. "

Kestrel pauses, then lowers his voice,
" I also found mention of a Star Tear axe in my research. "

Galatine looked unimpressed at the cost.
They possess you? thats it? Pfft...wouldnt matter much to me...besides, Im sure someone can perform exorcisms...
At the mention of a star-tear axe, he looked interested.
Im no good with such a weapon...but that does sound interesting...

" I think the point was that it was Silver's choice as to what the payment was. Besides do you know someone willing and able to open a Ritual Circle? "

Hmm...I see. And no, sadly, I think the only people i know capable of doing so are Kalist and Quayel...

Kestrel moves and sits down at the table.

"This axe, I think it was claimed my the Midari for their help in the battle of Pathway - when these Forts were taken from the elves. I know Drake (the one which Fort Drake is named after) was known to wield it. "
