*Aratains voice come from the other side of the forge.*

"You know it is polite to knock before entering. What can I do for you?"

I am sorry Aratian, I thought I had just gone into the main section, of the shop,

Kerrigan comes forward

I need to speak to you about a couple of things one is about what happend at Dvarni and the other is about armour

*Aratain smiles and chuckles a little.*

"You did, I say that to most people I know who come in just to see how they react. Let's get the armour out the way and then whilst we'll talk about other matters. The armour will take less time to get sorted so shoot."

Kerrigan smilies brightly
Well it is two enquires, about armour
Counting on his fingers Kerrigan says

first if I gave you some mastercrafted soft leather armour could you increase the amount of protection it gives, and how much would that be,
and second if you couldn't do that how much would mastercrafted soft leather armour that had at least double the normal protection of normal mastercrafted soft leather cost me?

Kerrigan stops there thinks for a moment

those are my two enquries about armour out the way

*Aratain digests what Kerrigan had asked.*

"First of all, armour is not my area of expertise, I am trying to refine my techniques in armour crafting, but until then there is little I could do to improve on what you have. this inquiry gives me the insentive I need to work on the techniques more rigorously than I previously had. Second of all, this I know the easiest way to improve upon a pre-crafted piece of armour, or indeed weapon, is to take it back to its raw materials, so it would be easier and cheaper to just start anew. My chances of successfully making what you seek are negligible, at this time, but when I am in better understanding of the methods of armour crafting I will let you know, and quote you a price then. How does that sound?"

Kerrigan thinks and then scratches his chin
That sounds good and not to seem rude, but do you know of anyone who can currently craft armour.

*Aratain smiles.*

"Currently no, and without meaning to sound malicious if I did, they might not be able to for very long, after all crafting is a dangerous profession, I myself have already lost limbs to the art. Now what information did you need?"

Kerrigans smilies at this
The information I need, is about your trip to Davrni.

I was reliably informed that, you where there, I heard a rumour that something to do with Erimine and Jasdu, but nothing solid were they there and if so what did they do.

Also heard rumours of an orange bound book, was it a book that when written in shadow and or death magic erupted around the place?

If there is any other information you think I would like to know then please let me know

*Aratain smiles.*

"With so many self propelled rations headed straight for the fort, I would have been crazy to not go. Eremine... or more to the point Velnashar and Eremine turned up that is true. 'Ol bight eye up there was torturing the little lady, but to little effect. He seems to be trying to get her to speak. He's not doing so well either. As for the book, there was no book spitting death and shadow magics..... nope, it's gotten hungrier than that. writing in it simply kills outright now-a-days."

Kerrigan almost swears you can see it
The book kills outright and Erimine was being tortured by Velnashar, oh crikes, that is a lot to take in

Kerrigan looks around while he thinks for a moment

But Jasdu wasn't there, right

Anyway I thank you for your time, also I believe welcome is in order

OOC mind message Aratain As you have now joined our order

Aratian when you can make the armour I requested please drop me a message if there is nothing else you can think of from Dvarni that I might be interested in I shall be on my way

*Aratain looks slyly at Kerrigan.*

"If you want to know about Jasdu you'd best track down Threan. Should be easy for our order should it not? I'll let you know as soon as I have the ability to make the armour, in fact you'll be my first customer. You might be interested to know of the Blackened Oak, an order of dark aspect druids. Don't know much about them other than they were a pain n the sword arm a couple of times. Oh and the Black skins of the caves aren't there anymore. The entrance to the wastes at the caves is sealed whilst Kan Slaar puts his house in order. That's about all I can think of off hand, I let you know if anything else comes to mind."

*As Kerrigan leaves, Nathaniel enters from his work area*

Ah, Aratain. Just the person I was hoping to see. I could use your help with something, if you have a few minutes to spare.
So then he goes, YOU SHALL NOT PASS, and I say "I've got WINGS? I can FLY?" It was hilarious! The dwarf was tough, but the elf was delicious and they had some men and these four bite-sized guys, too. The wizard was fuming when I flew off.

*Aratain turns around to greet his friend and partner.*

"I have no commission on at this time, I was doing some refinements to my research before Kerrigan arrived, and now I have a new field to work in. It seems our neighbourhood sorcerer is looking for superior armour. I could do with some time away from the forge, how can I help?"

*Nathaniel gets several bottles out of his pockets, and hands all but one to Aratain*

If this doesn't work properly, then pour these down my throat straight away. They'll sort out any immediate problems that might occur.

*Nathaniel then drinks his last bottle, slightly hesitantly. Coughing heavily, he clutches his sides in pain briefly, before straightening up, apparently well again*

Ah, good. It worked. I think...
