Heading Out

Postby doreilly82 » Thu Feb 27, 2014 12:41 am

As Twain gathered the small pack of supplies he and Colara would need for the journey they where about to take, he contemplated how nice it should be to spend some time in the open air after being under ground for much of the last month, even if the nature of the news they where setting out to deliver meant that they would be moving to fast to really appreciate it.

He was hopping to take a cart for as much of the trip as possible but knew a lot of the journey would need to be made on foot, If the reports he had received where as accurate as he hoped it shouldn't take them long to reach the target especially if they pushed themselves.

After one last check of his pack he made his way over to see if Colara was ready to leave, for it was finally time to tell General Dellam Kellbeck what they had learned.

Colara checks that all of her gear is in order, rifling through her pouches everything is accounted for, she swings her bag over her shoulder and stands up to take an appraising look at their hand made camp.

Proud of the work that has been put into the camp to make it resemble a home, but was honestly looking forward to finally being able to see the trees again and breathe in fresh air. Despite the worrying circumstances that were causing her break from of the caves, she knew that the information she and Twain had learned was important and should be delivered without delay.

Unwillingly this somber thought drifted her memory back to the day she had decided to leave home and seek out adventure and couldn't help but think that maybe she was a little out her depth but Colara quickly shook that thought from her mind, determined to stay focused on the task at hand. She bid a quick farewell to the other members of party who were still in the camp, and a quick glance over her shoulder told her that Twain was also ready to depart and the time had come for them to leave.
