Currently grants 1 DR v Death, Shadow, Light and Life.

Propose adding DR v meta to it.

Can't see it having much of an impact. Implosion is the only thing that comes to mind.

Unless you would have it apply whenever someone says "Magic Quad" "Magic Blast" and doesn't specify an element. Even then it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, it's a minor thing: most people only require DR Life or Death (not both) and DR Light is rare so this adds a little something extra.

Simplify the system. Turn Damage Reduction: Absolute and Damage Reduction: Elemental into one skill - Damage Reduction: Magic. Affects all magic damage.

If enough people don't like that plan, then proposed change sounds fine - pretty uncontroversial.

I like that idea, the problem with turning it into 1 skill though is that it hurts those with a good academic mod:

Currently it costs Larkant Warrior (+2 to academic) 80 skill to get 4 absolute and 4 elemental. Conversely it costs Telefret High Mage 40 skill.
Change to a single skill (costing twice as much) and it costs Larkant Warrior 72 skill and the high mage 52

So I'd rather leave it as 2 skills to benefit the person with a good academic mod.
