What is Live Action Role Play?
Ever played Dungeons and Dragons? Well, think of that, and then put yourself in the position of the party.
You're the one swinging the sword, casting the spells and speaking with Gods. You're the one performing the rituals,
solving the mystery, saving the world and becoming immersed in a vast world
where you can become the ruler, the villain, the tyrant or the hero, and even Gods.
Single day adventures usually run from 10am till 5pm, and much like a game of D&D, the adventure is split into a number of different
encounters which you must 'defeat' to move on. Encounters can be anything, from a marauding group of bandits, a rampaging greater demon,
a much needed healer, a lethal trap or just a general role play encounter!
Fights take place using LRP safe weapons, which are foam, with a fibre glass core, coated in latex. You can look online for a better idea
of what they look like, but take my word for it, everything looks really decent… we're not talking about clumsily cut blocks of foam but
professionally made weapons!
Longer events are also run, including weekend events at different locations around the country, and even week long, 24 hour time in spectaculars called 'Sagas'!

The World of Velmaneth
A world born to host balance and harmony, it's descent into anarchy visibly began in the year 100, over 50 years ago now.
However, the roots of the betrayal began long before, when Velnashar, God of Chaos, planted in the hearts of every living being the
gift of free will. Through their own decisions the peoples of Velmaneth eventually turned against one another, leading the world
into division and unbalance.
In the North, the mighty Mi'Dari tribes, worshippers of dark powers forge constant raids on the north coasts of
Pargon, the worlds main continent. Within Pargon, in the basin filled with power known as the Heartlands, chaos reigns, and many factions
struggle for control of this most important location.
To the North East of Pargon, in the Dark Lands of Gweria, the Hope Slayers and their armies of Undead and Demons summoned from the terrifying
Land of Death known as the Hope Wastes push ever harder against their containment by the Knights of Mektar, God of Honour.
In the North West, Sinya Palurin plays host to numerous Heroes who seek to fight back against the forces of darkness and reclaim the
world in the name of balance. But how is this to be accomplished when corruption and unrest lie within their own home, as the Haran of
the Telerfret seeks dominion over all?
Now is the time to make a name, create Legends and tales of Heroism and might, that may be spoken of throughout the ages. What will
your choice be? Fight against all who would see the world fall into chaos? Or would you
forge a name of terror and despair, such that all who hear your name tremble with fear?
In a world that began with betrayal, you are the future. What future shall be forged by your hand?
